Had my car in to be looked at- I was the one to call them, no communication whatsoever. Booked it in to be fixed, had a 9am appointment. Again, I was the one to call them, they told me it would be ready at 4:45pm, 15 minutes before close. I sat in the office for an hour, only to be told they were still working on it and I’d have to come back on Saturday and use the courtesy car for the night. Absolutely no communication or consideration, won’t be returning
Have been here a couple times now, once for a slightly more aggressive track hybrid alignment and coilover set up, and another for a more mild street alignment. The staff understood exactly what I was after both times, worked with me for the specifics I was after, and absolutely hit it out of the park every time. BIG thank you to Pedders Launceston team! I could not be happier! Sincerely a picky Volvo driver :P
The team were totally focosed on finding the problem. I initisially supposed to be rack n pinion steering, ended up, after about 4 hours, finally worked it out. Was looking at nearly 3k bill, turned out they only charged me for a few hours. Very very happy witj their doggedness in sorting out my probs. Strenuosly reccomend this determined team. Again, thank you. PLUS Ijust had new rotors and pads put on the fron, rears checked, a service, tyre rotation and balance, and a few other bits sorted. Was only booked in for brakes but they fitted us in on the same day. Super accomodating to us as travellers. Again 5 ☆☆☆☆☆. Great team of professionals. Thank you.
My shocks did 230,000 ks, 170,000 towing a caravan around our great country & after pedders $28 test showed 50 percent, whatever that means. They worked on my car & it still didn't drive straight so independent mechanic replaced all 4 shocks & just like that it was like a new car again. I took the old ones back to pedders & was told by state manager retesting showed 80 percent. These are facts, I have no reason to BS. As I told "Manager" I'm disgusted with there so called after sales care. If you take your car here don't expect to be right if it doesn't feel safe after you drive away. Your car is fine & safe!
